The Altra Escalante Racer uses the Escalante 2.5 as its base, engineering its build from a versatile runner, to a shoe aimed at winning on race day.

The Altra EGO midsole is firmed up a little for a more responsive feel underfoot, and increased power, while a static mesh upper is lightweight, breathable, and comfortable.
