For everyday runs in muddy ground, including fell or mountain running, the Inov-8 Mudtalon in Black features a massive 8mm lug depth to get stuck into the terrain and give you confidence in your footing.

To enhance your grip further the Inov-8 Mudtalon uses a brand-new compound of STICKYGRIP rubber in the outsole, and a unique goat's hoof shape of studs that releases the mud for a clean grip with every stride. A precise fit gives a closer, more secure feel, for a nimble, agile feel across steep terrain. A locked in heel fit from the MET-CRADLE and thick overlay strips at the midfoot ensures the perfect lockdown. The upper itself is made from ballistic nylon for rugged durability. Inov-8s lightest midsole foam yet, POWERFLOW PRO is used to soak up the impact across uneven landing zones but still allows you to respond to the ground beneath you. A flexible ROCK-PLATE protects against sharp rocks and tree roots.
